The Salem Ready, Salem Strong section of our website is the source for all information about our return to campus as a day school for Spring Term 2021. Please review the contents of this plan carefully and regularly in order to understand and be prepared to participate in our protocols for a safe return to campus during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are committed to creating the best possible experience that we can for Salem campus members during this difficult time. Our Task Force, in collaboration with senior leadership, faculty, and staff across campus, local public health officials, and medical consultants, has worked diligently to develop the Salem Ready, Salem Strong return to campus plan. The plan focuses on how we will return to campus given favorable conditions while providing for our safety and wellbeing. The team is continuing this important work and will do so throughout the coming months.

The success of our plan depends on all of us committing to follow the Salem Ready, Salem Strong guidelines and working together to combat the challenges posed by COVID-19. As part of this commitment and in joining Salem on-campus for Spring Term 2021, students, faculty, and staff will be required to follow our “We are Salem – Campus Community Compact,” which describes the new health and safety measures that we must undertake to protect one another on campus and in our community. Students, faculty, and staff should carefully review and acknowledge their commitment to abide by the We are Salem – Campus Community Compact prior to returning to campus. Campus members may do so by clicking on the link provided and electronically signing.

Because the COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation, please check this site regularly. Details may be added and adjustments made throughout the winter based on guidance from public health officials and changing conditions.

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus soon. Together, we are #SalemStrong!
