The mental health and wellness of Salem Academy students remains a high priority. In-person counseling sessions have resumed for 2021-2022, along with mindfulness sessions, social-emotional learning, and health and wellness activities. These activities are designed to support our campus community academically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
Employees and their immediate family members, including spouses and children living in their home, who need assistance with mental or emotional health may use the Salem-sponsored Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP is a Salem-sponsored benefit that offers support resources and information, including counseling sessions, to address challenges and concerns. The free counseling services are available to full-time, benefit eligible employees. All employees can register an account through the guidance resources website to access toolkits and online resources. The EAP is a free service for employees and completely confidential. For more information about the EAP memo located in the COVID-19 HR Repository (Information, Updates, and Memos) at MySalem (my.salem.edu) under Services at the HR, Payroll, and Benefits tab.
