WFU Stamps Leadership Scholar Awarded to Ashley Peake

Ashley Peake has received the Stamps Leadership Scholar Award, one of the most selective and comprehensive scholarships in the United States. The scholarship is intended to cover all academic costs for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study. The scholarship specifically covers:

  • Full tuition and standard Fees
  • Room rent for the student’s assigned residence hall
  • A Deacon 1 account credit equivalent to the largest meal plan
  • $3400 per semester for books, personal expenses, and transportation
  • The standard model notebook computer in the WakeWare program

Made possible by through the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation, and through matching funds from Wake Forest University benefactor Mr. Porter B. Byrum, this scholarship annually covers the costs of tuition, fees, room and board, and includes an allowance for books and personal expenses. Scholars may receive up to $15,000 total over their four undergraduate years for approved travel or study projects.
