Salem Through My Eyes
My Salem Academy experience has become my dream retirement. Coming from public schools, my second act at Salem has been so fulfilling. Being here, I see the type of educational experience I wish each child could have. The emphasis on writing, communication, and leadership for the students prepares them well for life after Salem. It has been such a pleasure and blessing to be a part of the staff and to be able to end my teaching career here.
Fun Facts
My passion is civil liberties and US history. I love sports, especially baseball, football, and college football. My graduate degree is from Wake Forest, but I cheer for UNC. I am a self-aware political junkie and podcast addict.
