Gloria Frost joined the Academy staff as librarian in October of 1993 after eight years as non-print cataloguer with Wake Forest University’s Z. Smith Reynolds Library. She graduated from North Carolina A & T State University with a M.S. in Education and went on to complete a master’s in Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Ms. Frost currently co-sponsors the Model-UN club and serves on the library advisory committee. She has served as a chaperone on Jan Term trips to Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Gloria joined the Academy house staff in October 2008 and later assumed the role of director of residential life. She continues in this capacity. Her top priority is the well-being of all students, but particularly the boarding students that she resides with in the dormitory. Ms. Frost’s favorite past-times are attending sporting events, working at her church, and spending time with her granddaughter.
