The city’s performing arts groups include: the Winston-Salem Symphony, Piedmont Wind Symphony, the Piedmont Opera, Twin City Stage, the North Carolina Black Repertory Company, and the Piedmont Chamber Singers.
Winston-Salem is home to the Stevens Center, a nationally recognized facility for the performing arts; Reynolda House Museum of American Art; The Diggs Gallery at Winston-Salem State University; the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA); Wake Forest University; and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA).
