Athletics Facilities

Salem Academy facilities include two full-size athletic playing fields, two full indoor gymnasiums, a 25-yard indoor pool, 12 tennis courts and a softball field.

From Salem Avenue and Stadium Drive

Go down the hill (1/4 mile) on Salem Avenue. At the bottom of the hill, take a right through the gate. The tennis courts are located on the left. The soccer and field hockey field is on the right. The gym is all the way in the back.

Salem Academy, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is easily accessible by car from Interstate 40, Business 40 and Hwy 52.

From the East

Take I-40 West to Highway 52 North. Take the Stadium Drive exit (108-C) and turn right off of the exit. At the intersection for Stadium Drive and Salem Avenue, you will see the entrance for Salem Academy in front of you to the left.

From the West

Take Interstate 40 Business to Winston-Salem (not I-40 Bypass). Exit at Old Salem/Salem College/Downtown exit. When the exit ramp forks, stay right and merge onto Liberty Street. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Cemetery Street, go through the stop light at Main Street and continue to a stop sign at Salem Avenue. Turn right on Salem Avenue and the entrance to Salem Academy is on the right at the next red light. Look for the brick entrance and a sign for Salem Academy.

From the South:

Take Hwy. 52 North to Winston-Salem. Exit at the Stadium Drive exit. Take a right onto Stadium Drive.

The Piedmont Triad International Airport, located between Winston-Salem and Greensboro, is approximately a 25-minute drive from Salem Academy. Transportation is available to and from the airport.

Both Charlotte/Douglas International Airport and Raleigh/Durham International Airport are approximately 1.5 hours driving distance from Salem Academy.
