The Salem Academy Alumnae Association is seeking nominations for the 2013 Alumnae Awards.

Do you know an alumna who is a dedicated volunteer, has an outstanding career or has achievement in service? If so, please let us know!  Please note that the alumna chosen should have graduated in a class year ending in “3” or “8” for this year’s awards.

Nominations for the 2012 awards must be received by January 18, 2013.
Awards will be presented during Reunion Weekend 2013 at the Reunion Luncheon.

Each year Salem Academy recognizes alumnae in the following categories:

Distinguished Alumna Award:

The Distinguished Alumna Award recognizes outstanding service and achievement by an alumna either in her community and volunteer service and/or professional career and achievements.

Young Alumna Award:

The Young Alumna Award recognizes an alumna who, within 20 years of her graduation from the Academy, exemplifies outstanding qualities of leadership and achievement.  This leadership can be demonstrated through her professional accomplishments and/or her volunteer service and through a commitment to the Academy.

Alumna Service Award:

The Alumna Service Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the Academy, whether through leadership, fundraising, admissions recruitment, publicity or other means to promote the school’s mission.

Award nominations are reviewed and recipients are selected by the Alumnae Awards Committee of the Alumnae Board.
