Giving to Salem Academy

Salem Academy relies on the continued support of its alumnae and friends like you. Every gift, no matter the amount, makes adifference to Salem Academy. Not only are you supporting an institution with more than 241 years of educational excellence, but you are also helping the next generation of young women to change the world for the next 241 years and beyond!

Thanks to our dedicated alumnae, friends, faculty, staff, parents and students, the Academy successfully surpassed its goal of $365,000 for the Annual Fund during the 2011-2012 fiscal year.  Give to Salem between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013 to be included in the 2013 Honor Roll of Donors published in the annual alumnae magazine.

The Salem Academy Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is an unrestricted general fund that is used to cover operating costs that are not covered by tuition. Every gift truly makes a difference! Check, online banking, credit and debit card donations are welcome. 

The Annual Fund assists with the costs associated with:

• Financial aid and scholarships
• Maintenance and preservation of Salem’s historic buildings and grounds
• Technological upgrades for our classrooms and dorms which in turn help us attract students who expect advanced technology on campus
• Competitive salaries for exceptional faculty and resources for innovative teaching strategies
• New student programs and athletic teams
• Other ongoing campus needs

Double or Triple Your Gift With Corporate Matching!

If you or your spouse work for a company that has a matching gift program, you could double or even triple your gift! Corporate matching gifts are a great way for Salem Academy alumnae, parents, and friends to maximize personal contributions to the Annual Fund program and increase the impact of their Salem Academy investment.

If you are unsure if your company matches gifts, check with your Human Resources department or your company giving department about their program and participation. Many companies include retirees, spouses, widows/widowers in their matching programs.
