Alumnae

As we mark the 238th anniversary of the founding of Salem Academy, our nearly 3,000 alumnae are living in 47 states, the District of Columbia and 23 foreign countries. They are successful in business, the media, international affairs, politics, teaching, medicine, science, the arts, and many other areas. They are exemplary friends, wives, mothers, and volunteers who make their communities better places to live.

Although Salem alumnae have chosen many paths, they always will have certain things in common: the integrity of adhering to a cherished Honor Code, an excellent education received from caring and talented faculty and the happy memories of Salem traditions, such as reciting the Moravian Blessing, receiving class rings and participating in Christmas Candlelight Services. They also share that special bond we call "sisterhood," a feeling that endures no matter how many years go by.
