Athletics

The athletic program is committed to providing opportunities for personal growth and development.  Much is to be learned and experienced on the playing field or court that includes self-confidence, development of skills and camaraderie with teammates.  Team and individual sports also provide a foundation for lifetime activities.                                                                                               
                                                          

The thrill of interscholastic competition is a point of focus for school spirit. As a member of the Triad Athletic Conference of the North Carolina Independent Schools Association, Salem competes with teams in basketball, cross-country, field hockey, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, and volleyball. Our junior varsity teams include basketball, field hockey and tennis.
